Prints the purchases above as a clean summary for your own files: dates, vendors, amounts, receipt references, and status. Save it as a PDF from the print dialog if you prefer.
Check a receipt before it goes in.

Seller and date
The seller’s name and the full purchase date, including the year.
What was bought
Each item named specifically. Tutoring and therapy invoices need more, such as the provider’s license number.
Price breakdown
Subtotal, taxes, shipping, and the grand total.
Proof it was paid
A card receipt, a cleared check, a payment-app receipt, or a bank or card statement.
Shared by the family?
Items other family members use are prorated to the scholarship student’s share.
A digital device?
Laptops, tablets, Chromebooks, and phones are on the PEP prohibited list.
note: Checks are based on Step Up for Students’ Reimbursement Guide for Parents and Guardians and the 2025–26 PEP Purchasing Guide, read September 30, 2026. They check completeness; Step Up decides eligibility and approval. Receipt scanning isn’t built yet, so in the app you type the details.
Common purchases, and what to keep.
Twelve common purchases, checked against Step Up’s current PEP Purchasing Guide, with the paperwork worth keeping. Each row names the guide section it comes from. The guide itself has the final word.

Questions parents ask.
How much is the Florida PEP scholarship?
It depends on your student’s grade level and county of residence, according to Step Up’s 2026–27 PEP Family Handbook. Step Up publishes a 2026–27 funding chart with the amount for each county and grade.
When are Florida PEP funds deposited?
In four equal quarterly amounts: August 1 for renewing students or September 1 for new students, then November 1, February 1, and April 1. Source: Step Up’s 2026–27 PEP Family Handbook.
Do PEP funds roll over to the next school year?
Yes. Step Up’s 2026–27 PEP Family Handbook says unspent funds can roll over and stay available for eligible expenses while the student remains eligible. The account closes if two consecutive fiscal years (July 1 – June 30) pass with no spending.
What can Florida PEP funds be used for?
Step Up’s PEP Purchasing Guide lists eligible items such as books and curriculum, part-time tutoring with a credentialed tutor, lab materials, electives like music, standardized testing, and learning manipulatives. Digital devices such as laptops and tablets are prohibited, and anything not listed needs pre-authorization. Our purchase guide above checks 12 common examples.
What is the Florida PEP reimbursement deadline?
Step Up lists these request windows: purchases made July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 can be submitted until October 31, 2026; purchases made July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 can be submitted until July 31, 2027. Step Up says to allow up to 60 days for review once all required documents are in. Check Step Up’s reimbursement page for changes. The tracker can add a reminder to your calendar.
Which receipt details should I check before submitting?
Step Up’s reimbursement guide asks that a receipt show:
- The seller’s name
- The purchase date, including the year
- The item purchased
- The price breakdown: subtotal, taxes, shipping, and grand total
- Proof of payment, such as a card receipt, cleared check, payment-app receipt, or statement
Receipts missing details can be placed on hold. Tutoring and therapy invoices need more, such as the provider’s license number.
Can PEP funds pay for a laptop or tablet?
Step Up’s 2025–26 PEP Purchasing Guide lists digital devices, including laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, e-readers, phones, and smart watches, as prohibited. The tracker flags device purchases so you notice before you submit.
How do I record a purchase shared by siblings?
Step Up’s PEP guide prorates items other family members use, so only the scholarship student’s share is covered. The split worksheet works out each student’s share and writes a note to keep with the receipt.
Does this submit my reimbursement to EMA?
No. It keeps your records organized and helps you prepare. You still submit through your scholarship funding organization’s portal, which is EMA for Step Up for Students families.
Is this affiliated with Step Up for Students or AAA?
No. ESA Funds Tracker is an independent record-keeping tool. It isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Florida Department of Education, Step Up for Students, AAA Scholarship Foundation, or the EMA portal.
Where are my records stored?
In the browser on your device. They aren’t sent to an application database. Clearing browser data or losing the device can erase them, so save a backup file regularly.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up and no email required.
